Being a registered member of Visit Scotland Quality Assurance Scheme with a 3 star Award we work on similar terms and conditions. Any bookings confirmed either by e-mail, telephone or in person are taken on trust that you as the guest will keep to any arrangements made. We usually ask for a deposit equivalent to one night's stay payable by cheque to Roslin Cottage. We are now set up for credit or debit card payments but have reluctantly had to add a charge for their use to cover the costs. If as result of illness or unforeseen circumstances a booking has to be cancelled we usually need a minimum notice of 120 hours before 9pm on your arrival date before any deposit paid can be refunded. If you have to cancel within that period we expect you to pay the full amount due for your 1st night's stay. If we are able to relet the rooms we would return any monies paid. Please contact us as soon as possible in the event that you have to cancel to allow us to discuss the situation with you. |
